Do we have to be oceanfront? Nope, We have battery power for the blender and the speaker so pick your spot and we will take it from there!
Can't we just bring our own stuff and do this? Of course you can but it is a ton of work and your tent may not survive the week. We have lost several over the years before we decided to go with our MasterTent from TentCraft. Someone also has to pack all that gear and haul it down to the Outer Banks and then set it up and break it down every day, get ice, run power, bury the cords....
We can leave it up overnight, right? Not anymore! If you leave it on the beach it will be hauled away. Only footprints and memories are allowed to be left behind.
It seems a bit pricey! We agree it isn't cheap to have BeachMasters there for you but we think the equipment you get and the service we provide are well worth it. We suggest breaking it own. You won't destroy a $150 tent, You won't double your gas cost getting here because you needed a trailer, You get $10 worth of ice every day, You split the cost with how many people?, You follow BeachMasters OBX on Facebook to get the latest discounts when they are posted, You don't have to listen to the sweaty person moaning about having to set up all that stuff on the beach.....
What if there is a rainout? If there is a complete washout day, we will refund you the pro-rated amount for that day. The same goes if there is some kind of weather event that prohibits us from setting you up. Passing showers that do not drown out the whole day don't count though. You can chill under the tent and they usually pass through pretty quickly.
When should we make our reservation? Since we have a limited inventory it is best to get your order in as early as possible. We are always adding more but we may not always be able to keep up with demand.
Can we book just a day or two? Yes if we have available inventory, but our weekly rentals take priority. You may book a daily set up a week in advance of your arrival.
